Note: No control on this machine; it had a Mitsubishi control on it originally, was not supported anymore, model tmc, scrapped it, ready for retrofit of a new control; just needs control, drives rewired, total electrical retrofit needed. Original cabinets included with machine.

Base machine is in great condition ready to retrofit with new controller by buyer.

Notes: Some of the sheet metal and conveyors are in an enclosed semi trailer.

The major components are in the same location
(heated and dry) as the pictures. The machine base components, hydraulic unit and tool changer are all inside our building and dry. The other pics of the electrical cabinet, conveyor, covers and guard, motor, etc. are stored in a semi trailer and dry. The only rust I saw was some surface rust on the telescoping covers for the cross rail. This is typical for a running machine as these covers are not ever painted.

Mechanical: When we received this machine, we
disassembled to the extent necessary to inspect all the slide and inspected the wear surfaces and gibs. They were all in great and everything still had scrape pattern in all surfaces. No scraping was necessary. We also inspected the ball screws and they check out the same as the ways. This machine obviously seen very little use. We do know, it came out of a GE Aircraft facility and run jet engine components only. They replaced this machine will a new OM vertical because of the CNC control was no longer supported. It was a Toshiba controller. The table was removed and the bearing inspected. They were like new also. Basically, the entire machine was checked out mechanically and all was in great shape.

As you can see in the pics, the storage of this machine has no effect on the components. The protective cross slide covers are present with some surface rust, the conveyor look good, the hyd. tank is inside and is shown in one of the pics, the ATC is in our storage area on the shelving and the splash guard and covers are, as far as I can tell, are present and in good shape. Although the components are in 3 different places, they were closely tracked and protected.

This machine is in excent. mechanical condition and used only on aircraft parts manufacture. This machine needs retrofit with new controller and will be sold as is.
