Description:
Custom designed shearing tool assembly for metal
bars or irregular shapes to be used with standard
hydraulic or mechanical presses or with dedicated
Folam presses Ref. Ad.5693. Also the tool
assembly is used in a semiautomatic assembly
consisting of the tool, pinch roll feed and
pneumatic back gage. Ref. Ad. 5694. Sizes are
based on the cross section of the workpiece and
it's material properties. Tooling sizes range
from 5 tons to 300 tons. Assembly consists of
adjustable knives, gas spring loaded hold downs
and work supports providing forging quality burr-
free square cuts. Models come in single bar or 3
bar position units. Prices are $5,400 to $22,000
plus NetMachinery "add-on".
