excellent condition.
Currently under power and located in a one man
machine shop that is being liquidated.
A few years ago, I upgraded this machine to a 2
axis cnc with 3 axis readout by installing an
Anilam Millpowr control and an A&T power
drawbar.
There is a 4 inch riser installed on the
column.
The head was gone thru only a couple of years
ago and is in excellent condition.
Ways are chrome and they are in excellent
condition
There is a new automatic oiler pump installed.
This machine is incredible for 2 axis work as
the control accepts a .dxf file, and if done
correctly is Very fast and accurate. The
technique is a little difficult to discover,
but extremely simple to use, and I will give it
to the buyer.

Imported by Cose, has a Kobold motor.
Includes 2 very recently bought diamond cup
wheels, very complete set of collets, wrenches,
manual, and the optical comparator
The collet nut has been modified for a fixed
stop for cutter length in case you want to make
multiple cutters. In addition, I believe that
there was another modification to allow making
three fluted cutters. We never made single
fluted ones, they just don't run as well or as
long as three flutes
Input voltage is 220/440 three phase and 110
for the lamp

| 8 inch: Offered for sale is a fine vintage pedestal
grinder that was gone thru a few years back to
include checking the wiring and replacing all
bearings.
At the time a coat of epoxy paint was applied.
Included will be a grinding wheel, wire wheel,
hand dresser, and new deburring wheel.
This is a very solid and heavy grinder. Local
pickup preferred, but can skid and ship if
absolutely necessary. |

| 12 x 24: Offered for sale is an Okamoto fully automatic
surface grinder with Extremely low hours.
Here is the story on this machine. After
opening my shop, I watched this grinder as it
sat in a machinery boneyard warehouse and
collected pigeon droppings for nearly 10 years.
At a certain point I thought I needed a grinder
this big, so bought it, hauled it to the shop,
completely disassembled it, and called in the
machinery scrapers because I was Absolutely
certain that the grinder needed a complete
overhaul. I hadn't run it yet, and Boy was I
WRONG. The scraper checked it all out and
asked me why in the world I called them in. It
needed nothing, not even a tuneup. So it got a
coat of epoxy paint and was set up in the shop.
It actually got used a couple of times over the
years. I am basically a one man shop.
The main control board went out at one point
and the repair shop didn't think they could fix
it, so I bought a new one from Okamoto. Old
one got fixed, went back in, and has been there
ever since. New one has not been out of the
box and is included in the sale
The grinder has over the wheel dresser, coolant
tank and pump, automatic magnetic chuck, a copy
of the original manual, lots of extra grinding
wheels, automatic incremental downfeed, and a
12 inch squeegee (not pictured, but it is like
new)
The grinder is currently under power and
available for inspection. I am not able to
load as my forklift is not big enough, but I
can arrange for a rigger to load for a
reasonable fee.

| —: Over the years we noticed that we needed to
size holes accurately for various reasons and
so we put together this honing station
utilizing Superior Hone components
(Manutactured today by Tennessee Abrasives).
The station consists of: floor model drill
press wired thru a foot switch (so we could
hold on to the parts with both hands and cycle
the drill press on and off) and a reverse
switch (so we could not only expand the size of
the hones, but reduce them also) New $900-
1200
a complete Model TRK-1000 honing kit with
mandrels, stones, and a morse taper mandrel
driver. New cost on this is $1900 today
an additional straight shank mandrel driver if
you wanted to install it in a bridgeport or
other machine, new cost $600
50 Mandrels total to about 3 inch diameter
estimated new cost about $3500
222 sets of stones + or - some used, many new
with a replacement cost of about $3000
30 truing sleeves with a replacement cost of
$480 |
