| General Description |
- unit consits of: blast cabinet, an abrasive recovery and handling system and dust collector for ventilating the blast equipment
cabinet consists of a maganeese steel blast compartment with 8 rotoblast units mounted half inch thick manganese plates provided in line with rotoblast units
opening access to interior of cabinet and vetibules in thru the work openings at entry or exit end of machine or an overhead monorail supplied by customer-included(partial system)
floor of cabinet is 1" x 3/16 type 1R1 bar grating designed for 250 lbs per sq ft max load
vestibules contain 3 sets of polycarbonate fingers type seals to contain abrasive.
abrasive system: bottom of cabinet converges into a hopper containing 12" dia JH spiral screw coinveyor, as spent abrasive falls into the hopper it is conveyed by the screw
air stream thru the seperator is controlled by a blast gate mounted on the casing
a low level biondicator is supplied to indicate low abrasive level
spill hopper: 10' spill hopper w screw conveyorprovided to recover most of the abrasive from exit area
eight ammeters are provided to register power consumptioin of rotoblast units in order to better adjust abrasive flow
rotoblast units: # 1340DD-2RK units 15HP at 3600 rpm
ventilating system: 6800 CFM reqired for Torrit DF2-12 dust collector sytstem
Abrasive replenisher : 4cuft unit w/ low level bin indicator and abrasive gate
Removes scale to SP6, eight wheel, 120 Total HP, total motor HP 171,
compressed air requirement approximately 18 SCFM at 80 PSIG
